Green Detox Smoothie

What you need:
- 30 g fresh spinach leaves
- 30 g fresh kale leaves, stems removed
- 1 banana, peeled and sliced
- 1 apple, cored and roughly chopped (skin on)
- ½ cucumber, chopped
- 1.5 cm piece of fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
- 10 g chia seeds
- 240 ml coconut water (or AquaTru-filtered water)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Ice cubes, optional

How to do it:
- Add the spinach, kale, banana, apple, cucumber, ginger, chia seeds, coconut water, and lemon juice to a blender.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more coconut water or filtered water until you reach your preferred consistency.
- Add a few ice cubes if you would like it colder, and blend again briefly.
- Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
Tips: For extra protein, stir in a tablespoon of almond butter or a scoop of your preferred protein powder. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Give it a good shake before drinking.
