AquaTru Carafe is a compact water filtration system with a durable, easy-to-remove glass water carafe that fits in the refrigerator. This complete system filters through a 4-stage filtration, via Ultra Reverse Osmosis®, more than 99% of all contaminants from your tap water. AquaTru Carafe is easy to use: 'Plug & Play'. Purification process

Using AquaTru Carafe, the reverse osmosis water filtration system, is easy. Fill the rear tank with tap water and the system does the rest. AquaTru Carafe uses a multi-stage purification process via a sediment filter, a pre-carbon filter, a reverse osmosis membrane and a post-carbon filter. Together, these four filters remove contaminants from water such as chlorine, lead, arsenic, fluoride and more. The result is pure, clean and delicious drinking water. The filtering process only takes a few minutes. You can also use the purified water for hot drinks or for cooking.

Love it as, I was hoping to.

"Finally I can drink water at home again. I wasn’t happy drinking tap water, it was safe apparently but tasted of chlorine and had an odd smell. Bottled water was too heavy to shop constantly. I use my Aquatru everyday day and have no regrets. The only disappointment was the EU power plug with an adapter. It’s hanging out of the adapter all the time. I would think for the price I would get a uk power supply? Fix it AquaTru!"

NO PROBLEM DRINKING ENOUGH WATER WITH THE AQUA TRU CARAFE - COMLLETE SET

"I need to drink my 1. 5 to 2 litres of water daily, but often drank much less except if I laced it with cordials which are too sweet anyway. Having tried several types of water purifying systems, I did more research on the best for my use. I liked how the Aqua Tru worked as it sounded simple enough to use. The cost was more than I wanted to pay, but weighing up the health benefits, I ordered one. The best thing I've done in a long time! Not only does it look good, but is easy to set up and use. Best of all is that water tastes the way it ought to and I have to be careful not to drink too much! Extremely happy with my purchase and recommend it highly."

Top Marks for the AquaTru Carafe Filter with proper maintenance and care

"We bought our first water filter 18 months ago. We were very pleased with it, but we did have issues due to not following the guidelines around the descaling process correctly. We live in a hard water area. Reading the manual and understanding this Carafe and looking after it will be worth it! After liaising with a very very helpful customer support team via email, I was able to troubleshoot and correct the problems that had happened due to not following the instructions correctly. As a result, I managed to salvage the filter. Limescale build up can affect the water tank and I did have to replace that and afterwards it was working perfectly. You also need to replace the cartridges as soon as prompted to do so to maintain your system. Through proper care, maintenance and use, this is by far the best water filter carafe system on the market. I have since purchased another carafe so we now have two in the house. If you have very hard water, it is important that you descale your filter at least once a month. I would also recommend using the water softener taps to top up your water tank as long as you are using food grade salt tablets. This is kinder to your filter and limescale will not build up as quickly. Look after this filter and it'll give you the finest water you could possibly desire. I have also started using the Pre Carbon Mineral Boost cartridges just to replace with minerals lost during the reverse osmosis process. We love this filter!"

Well it’s attractive, it works well but

"Not sure about the taste of the water. The machine works well, the water looks very clear and its water . Unfortunately the taste isn’t great. It’s definitely drinkable but I expected it to be better. We have soft water so it’s not that so I just don’t know . Good company, the delivery was also good. So only 4 stars I’m afraid ."

"I am pleased with the product as it produces purified water that tastes nice. It’s a little noisy when in action but you get used to it and it doesn’t take long to fill the jug which you can then pop in the fridge. I still drink glass bottled mineral water but I use it for my tea and find the taste is enhanced if I add a pinch of ancient and brave electrolytes."
