"It does a good job in filtering but not everything, so I tested the water after the filtering and there was still fluoride in there and that was the main reason I bought the machine for (to filter the fluoride)"

AquaTru Classic is a complete water filtration system based on Ultra Reverse Osmosis that removes up to 99 percent of all contaminants from tap water. The Alkaline upgrade enhances the final stage of filtration, giving you smoother, fresher tasting water with an elevated pH level.
AquaTru Classic is easy to install. Plug and Play. Fill the rear water tank and the system immediately starts filtering. Within 12 to 15 minutes, the front tank holds 2.7 litres of purified water. Press the blue dispenser button at the front of the unit and fill your glass with freshly filtered water. The clean water tank is removable and can be stored in the fridge. It is made of durable Tritan plastic that is BPA-free and does not release microplastics into your drinking water.

This package includes the AquaTru Classic water filter with a starter filter set, plus an Alkaline 1 year filter pack. The pack contains two pre-carbon filters and one VOC Alkaline filter. Together, these filters keep your water clean, great tasting and pH-balanced for the year ahead.
After six months of use, the pre-carbon filter of your AquaTru must be replaced. The Alkaline 1 year filter pack contains all the filters you need for the following year. In total, you will have enough supplies for 1.5 years of use.

"Clean water that has a bit of a fresh/sharp flavour profile. I wish it could have a smoother/rounder mouthfeel. We have also started boiling the RO water for our hot drinks. I've found there is less limescale in our appliance since doing this. The RO process is very quiet which we were pleased to discover. I've had to contact customer service once and their response was prompt. The only downside is that we are big water drinkers in our household, so the tank requires to be refilled often, which is a bit inconvenient owing to its shape and the lid being in the way (it would be good if they modified the design and made the lid to the tap water tank removable- this would make it easier to fill and wash)."
